Penny’s New Game Parade: Myth, Magic & Legends

I've been somewhere rather unusual this week.

Actually, several somewheres.

I've crossed paths with ancient gods, wandered into the world of Baba Yaga, encountered a few mummies and somehow found myself caught between angels and demons.

All in the name of finding you something new to play, of course.

After exploring cascades and clusters and getting caught up in Hold & Win-style features, this week's new arrivals have something completely different connecting them: myths, magic and legendary characters.

So, I've packed my bravest cardigan.

Let's go.

Angels and Demons – OneTouch

First stop: the eternal battle between good and evil.

Angels and Demons from OneTouch takes us into a supernatural world where two very different forces meet on the reels.

It's exactly the sort of game that caught my attention for this week's collection because a strong theme can do so much more than make a game look pretty. It gives the reels a world of their own.

Baba Yaga Tales draws inspiration from the legendary figure of Slavic folklore, giving this week's parade a darker fairytale twist.

And this is exactly why I love a good theme.

Not every magical game needs glittering castles and friendly wizards. Folklore can be mysterious, strange and just a tiny bit unsettling.

Baba Yaga certainly isn't your traditional storybook grandmother.

Although, between you and me, I'd still accept a cup of tea if she offered.

Probably.

3 Fortune Mummies – Spinomenal

And finally, we're going somewhere I've become surprisingly familiar with lately: ancient Egypt.

3 Fortune Mummies brings mummies, ancient mysteries and the promise of hidden fortune into our magical little tour.

Egyptian themes have long been part of the world of slot games, and it's easy to understand their appeal. Tombs, treasures, hieroglyphics and centuries-old mysteries practically write the adventure for you.

Three mummies, though?

One would have been plenty.

I'm keeping a very close eye on the sarcophagi.
