Eligibility

1. The Sweepstakes are subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial and local laws and regulations. It is the sole responsibility of each participant to determine whether the Sweepstakes is legal and compliant with all regulations in the jurisdiction in which he or she resides.
2. Winning the MrsMaple.com games and redeeming Prizes are contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set out in these Official Sweeps Rules.
3. MLI Employees, any of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, holding companies, advertising agencies, or any other company or individual involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of the Sweepstakes and their immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children, whether the relationship is by birth, marriage or adoption) and people who share the same residence are not eligible to participate.
4. Participation constitutes the participant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Sweeps Rules and Sponsor’s/Promoter’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
5. Each participant must set up a customer account (a “User Account”) with MrsMaple.com in order to participate. If a Participant does not have a User Account, he or she can create one free of charge at www.MrsMaple.com (the “Website”). To enter the Sweepstakes, a participant must access the Website and sign in to his or her User Account.

How to collect sweeps coins - Participants can collect Sweeps Coins in the following ways:

1. Receive Sweeps Coins by opening a User Account. Each participant receives 1 in Sweeps Coin when he or she opens his User Account.
2. Receive Sweeps Coins as a free bonus when purchasing Maple Coins. Each Participant may receive Sweeps Coins as a bonus when purchasing “Maple Coins,” which are used for social game play at the Website. Maple Coins cannot be redeemed for Prizes. The number of Sweeps Coins a participant receives as a bonus for purchasing Maple Coins is displayed stated in the Website’s Coin Shop. All purchases of Maple Coins are final, and no refunds will be given.
3. Receive Sweeps Coins by spinning the Daily Prize Wheel. Each Participant has a chance to spin the Prize Wheel every day, with the chance to win Sweeps Coins and other prizes, by logging into their User Account.
4. Receive Sweeps Coins by participating in Weekly Tournaments and Prize Drops. Each Participant can receive free Sweeps Coins by participating in our weekly tournament and prize drop schedule. These events can be found on our promotions page.
5. Receive Sweeps Coing by participating in Social Media Giveaways. Each participant can receive free Sweeps Coins by participating in the regular competitions, giveaways and challenges run on the Mrs Maple social media accounts.
6. Receive Sweeps Coins by participating in our Weekly Email Competition. Participants can enter a no-cost email competition every week to win Sweeps Coins by following the instructions on the Weekly Email Competition promotion page.
7. Free Mail-In Entry Method.
   1. Participants in the United States (other than in the Restricted Territories) can receive Sweeps Coins by sending:
   2. A standard postcard or single piece of plain, unlined white paper
   3. An individually stamped #10 envelope
   4. Handwritten in CAPS and BLACK INK only
      On the standard postcard or the piece of plain, unlined white paper, in the following order, write:
   5. Your full name as it appears on your government-issued ID.
   6. The email address associated with your account.
   7. Your residential address linked to your account.
   8. Your unique one-time request code generated above.
   9. The exact statement:

   13. Participants can only receive Sweeps Coins by post if they follow the above guidelines.
   14. Participants are limited to making one Sweeps Coins request per outer envelope.
   15. For each request a participant submits, he or she will receive 2 Sweeps Coins.
   16. Postal entries will be processed within a reasonable timeframe. Please allow up to 8 weeks for Sweeps Coins to be credited to your account.
   17. The Sweeps Coins awarded via this method shall be added to the eligible participant’s User Account, subject to account verification and full compliance with these Official Sweeps Rules.
   18. If the handwriting on any mail-in request is not legible, or otherwise fails to comply with this subsection 6.5, the entry will be void, and the Sweeps Coins will not be credited to the participant’s User Account. The legibility of a participant’s handwriting shall be determined by Sponsor/Promoter in its sole discretion.
   19. A mail-in request must only be made by the participant and must be posted from the state or territory of the participant’s verified residential address. Requests made by any other individual or any entity and/or posted from any other state or territory will be declared invalid, and no Sweeps Coins will be credited to the participant’s User Account.Receive Sweeps Coins by opening a User Account. Each participant receives $2.5 in Sweeps Coins when he or she opens his User Account.

Sweeps coin accounts

1. A Participant’s Sweeps Coin balance is shown in the participant’s User Account as well as in the top menu of the website when in Sweeps Coin mode.
2. The amount of Sweeps Coins to be allocated to participants can be changed at any time by the Sponsor/Promoter in its sole discretion.
3. Use of any automated or other system(s) to Participate, to acquire Sweeps Coins or play the games is prohibited and will result in disqualification and loss of eligibility to participate in the games and/or account closure.
4. Sweeps Coins may be forfeited if a participant’s User Account is closed for any reason, or at the Sponsor/Promoter’s discretion.

Using sweeps coins to play games

1. Sweeps Coins can only be used to play Games within the Website for a chance to win additional Sweeps Coins.
2. The Website features multiple games, and every game displays the amount of Sweeps Coins required to play. The amount of Sweeps Coins required to play each game will be detailed next to the game. A participant may be able to increase the number of Sweeps Coins he or she plays to increase his or her potential winning eligibility.
3. Only games played with Sweeps Coins provide the opportunity to redeem winnings for Prizes. Certain promotions may offer tangible winnings in addition to or instead of Sweeps Coins. The value of these winnings will be specified in terms of the respective promotions. Sponsor/Promoter reserves the right to change the win rates and odds of any game at any time. It is a Participant’s responsibility to check the win rate on each occasion before he or she participates.
4. Sponsor’s/Promoter’s decisions related to the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes, the games and the amount of winnings are final and binding.

Verification and confirmation of potential winners

1. Potential Sweepstakes winners are subject to verification by Sponsor/Promoter (in any manner the Sponsor/Promoter chooses), and the decisions of Sponsor/Promoter are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. A participant is not a winner of any Prize, even if the online screen indicates he or she is a winner, unless and until the participant’s eligibility and the potential winning play(s) has/have been verified and the participant has fully complied with these Official Sweeps Rules and been notified that verification is complete. Sponsor/Promoter will not accept screen shots or other purported evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process.
2. Potential Prize winners must comply with these Official Sweeps Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements.
3. A potential Prize winner may be required to sign and return to Sponsor/Promoter, an affidavit/declaration of eligibility, and liability/publicity release (except where prohibited) in order to claim his/her Prize (if applicable).
4. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to properly execute and return the affidavit/declaration of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period (if applicable) or fails to comply with these Official Sweeps Rules, or if the Prize or Prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner forfeits the Prize.
5. Sponsor/Promoter reserves the right to carry out additional verification procedures for any Prize valued at $2000 or more. Additional verification procedures may, for example, include requests for and examination of copies of the participant’s identification documentation and/or proof of the participant’s address, such as a utility bill.
6. If any identification, credit or other verification check required by the sponsor/promoter cannot be completed to the sponsor/promoter’s satisfaction because the participant has not provided any documents requested by Sponsor/Promoter, in the form required by Sponsor/Promoter, within 30 days of the date the document was first requested, the redemption request will be disqualified and deemed null and void. Further, Sponsor/Promoter shall be under no obligation to continue with the verification check and may in its sole discretion deactivate the participant’s User Account.

Prizes and redemption

1. Participants cannot redeem Maple Coins for Prizes. Only Sweeps Coins won through participating in the games can be redeemed for Prizes, and every Sweeps Coin allocated to a participant must be played at least once before it can be redeemed for Prizes. Neither Maple Coins nor Sweeps Coins may be sold, transferred, assigned, gifted, traded or sublicensed.
2. SWEEPS COINS ARE SUBJECT TO A MINIMUM PRIZE REDEMPTION THRESHOLD OF $100 (US). AMOUNTS BELOW THE THRESHOLD ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR PRIZE REDEMPTION.
3. After submitting a Prize redemption request, the request may remain pending for a period of up to twenty-four (24) hours before processing begins. During this pending period, the participant may cancel the redemption request through their User Account, where the cancellation option is available.
4. Once the pending period has expired, or once the redemption request has moved to processing, the request can no longer be cancelled by the participant. Sponsor/Promoter may still delay, review, approve, decline, or cancel any redemption request in accordance with these Official Sweeps Rules, the Website Terms and Conditions, and any applicable verification, fraud prevention, payment, or compliance requirements.
5. To be eligible for Prize redemption:
   1. a participant must meet the eligibility requirements set out in Section 5; and
   2. the participant’s details must match those on the participant’s User Account. 
6.  In Florida, the maximum redemption value of winnings associated with any game played by the participant is US$5,000. Any Prize valued in excess of US$5,000 will be reduced to a maximum value of US$5,000. If the value of any Item won by a participant in Florida exceeds US$5,000, the winning participant will not have the option of redeeming the Winning for the actual item; all other redemption options will be available, and the Prize value will be reduced to US$5,000.
7. Sponsor/Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit a Participant’s redemption of Sweeps Coins to $5,000 per day or any other amount over any time that Sponsor/Promoter considers necessary to satisfy its regulatory obligations or the requirements of its partners and suppliers. No more than the stated number of Prizes will be awarded.
8. Sponsor/Promoter is not responsible for any taxes or fees associated with a Prize redemption. Participants are responsible for all applicable taxes and fees, including shipping costs, if applicable, associated with Prize receipt and/or redemption.
9. Sponsor/Promoter is not responsible for any foreign exchange transaction fees, charges or related costs that may be incurred as a result of, or in relation to, a Prize redemption, including but not limited to any losses or additional costs arising from foreign exchange fluctuations.
10. Sweeps Coins are not transferable, and no Prize substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s/Promoter’s sole discretion.
11. Prize winners will be notified by private message or email.
12. Prizes shall be allocated to the winning participant's User Account and paid or sent to the email address and/or bank account associated with the winning participant's User Account.  Sponsor/Promoter will only communicate with participants using the email address registered and associated with the participants' respective User Accounts. All requests for redemption shall remain pending until all required verification checks are completed to Sponsor/Promoter’s satisfaction.
13. Sponsor/Promoter reserves the right to request verification documents at any time during the Prize redemption process. Such documents may include, but are not limited to: (a) identification information; (b) credit information; (c) banking information; and/or (d) other verification information that Sponsor/Promoter may reasonably require or that are required of Sponsor/Promoter under applicable laws or by relevant regulatory authorities; in order to (i) verify the participant’s identity; (ii) verify the legal and beneficial ownership of the payment method(s) used by the participant to make transactions; (iii) prevent financial crime; and/or (iv) verify the participant’s postal address.
14. In the case of suspicious activity conducted by a participant, Sponsor/Promoter reserves the right to undertake additional verification procedures. Additional verification requests may include, but are not limited to: (a) requests for detailed financial statements or records, such as bank statements, to verify the source of funds and financial transactions; (b) requests for documents that prove the participant’s income, such as paystubs and/or tax returns; and requests for confirmation or additional details about specific transactions conducted by the participant. Sponsor/Promoter also reserves the right to conduct comprehensive background checks, including checks against public and private databases for criminal history and/or financial irregularities.
15. Sponsor/Promoter reserves the right to refund purchases in lieu of processing Prize redemption via the method selected by the winning participant. Such refunds will be made to the same payment source used to purchase the Coins.
16. Sponsor/Promoter shall make its best efforts to process all requests within the quoted amount of time but does not guarantee processing times for Prizes.
17. We will only process one Prize redemption request per User Account within any rolling twenty-four (24)-hour increment. Payouts will generally be processed within 10 days, including any applicable pending periods. While we aim to fulfil all payout requests within this timeframe, in some cases such as technical issues, identity verification, or events beyond our control, the process may take longer.
18. In some circumstances it may take up to thirty (30) days to process the payment of any redeemed Prizes.
19. Redemption of Prizes may experience delays due to the identity verification process.
20. If Sponsor/Promoter mistakenly credits any participant’s User Account with Prizes that do not belong to the participant, whether due to a technical error, human error or otherwise, the amount will remain property of Sponsor/Promoter and will be deducted from the participant’s User Account. If a participant receives a Prize that does not belong to him or her, the value of the mistakenly issued Prize will (without prejudice to other remedies and actions that may be available at law) constitute a debt owed by the participant to Sponsor/Promoter.
21. All redemptions of Sweeps Coins will be paid in US dollars using a third-party payment provider authorized by Sponsor/Promoter.
22. Maple Coins cannot be redeemed for Prizes.
23. If the total value of all Prizes redeemed or requested for redemption by a participant exceeds $600 (US) within a calendar year, the participant must complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 for tax reporting purposes. Sponsor/Promoter shall make the W-9 form available through the Website or via other means, such as email request, in case submission through the Website is not possible. By participating in Prize redemptions, the participant agrees to fulfill all necessary tax documentation requirements under applicable law. The submission of the W-9 form is managed by a certified third-party vendor that is authorized by the IRS to collect taxpayer data and is compliant with applicable data protection regulations. By agreeing to these Rules, the participant also consents to the processing of their personal data by the third-party vendor. All sensitive information collected will remain confidential and will not be disclosed to any third parties. All information provided on the W-9 form must match the details previously submitted in the user profile section and must be valid and accurate. Providing incorrect, false information or the information that does not match official public IRS records may result in the voiding of prizes or delays in the redemption process.
24. If the total value of prizes redeemed exceeds $600 within a calendar year, Sponsor/Vendor will file IRS Form W-2G for tax reporting purposes, as required by federal law. The participant acknowledges that such reporting is mandatory and agrees to cooperate fully with the Sponsor/Vendor’s compliance efforts. The filing of IRS Form W-2G by Sponsor/Vendor does not absolve the participant of his or her individual tax responsibilities.

Entry conditions and release

1. By Participating, each Participant agrees to:
   1. comply with and be bound by: (i) the T&Cs; (ii) these Sweeps Rules; and (iii) the decisions of the Sponsor/Promoter which are binding and final;
   2. release and hold harmless the Sponsor/Promoter and its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, the prize suppliers and any other organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Sweepstakes, and all of their respective past and present officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability, including but not limited to negligence and damages of any kind to persons and property, including but not limited to invasion of privacy (under appropriation, intrusion, public disclosure of private facts, false light in the public eye or other legal theory), defamation, slander, libel, violation of right of publicity, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, property damage, or death or personal injury arising out of or relating to a participant’s entry, creation of an entry or submission of an entry, participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance or use or misuse of prizes (including any travel or activity related thereto) and/or the broadcast, exploitation or use of entry; and
   3. indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor/Promoter from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorneys/legal fees) arising out of or relating to a participant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or participant’s acceptance, use or misuse of prizes.

Limitations of liability

1. Insofar as permitted by law in the respective territories, the Released Parties (as defined above) are not responsible for:
   1. any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by a participant, printing error or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes;
   2. technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software;
   3. unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes;
   4. technical or human error which may occur in the administration or operation of the Sweepstakes; or
   5. any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.  
2.  If for any reason a participant’s Sweeps Coins or winning play is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, participant’s sole remedy is replacement by Sponsor/Promotor of an equivalent amount of Sweeps Coins.

Customer support

General

1. These Official Sweeps Rules are to be read in conjunction with the Website Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”). Terms which are defined in the T&Cs have the same meaning in these Official Sweeps Rules.
2. PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE SWEEPS RULES INCORPORATE SECTION 19 OF THE T&Cs, WHICH INCLUDE A PROVISION WAIVING THE RIGHT TO PURSUE ANY CLASS, GROUP OR REPRESENTATIVE CLAIM AND REQUIRING YOU TO PURSUE PAST, PENDING, AND FUTURE DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND US THROUGH INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION UNLESS YOU OPT OUT WITHIN THE SPECIFIED TIME FRAME. BY AGREEING TO THESE SWEEPS RULES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND ARBITRATION PROVISIONS CONTAINED IN SECTION 19 OF THE T&CS.
3. Sweeps Coins may be forfeited if a User Account is deactivated due to a violation of the Website T&Cs for any reason, or at Sponsor/Promoter’s discretion.
4. It is the responsibility of the Participant to retain copies of transaction records and these Sweepstakes Rules, as updated from time to time.
5. Sponsor/Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes or these Official Sweeps Rules, or any part of the Sweepstakes or these Official Sweeps Rules, with immediate effect owing to circumstances outside its reasonable control and only where circumstances make it unavoidable if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s/Promoter’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor/Promoter in its sole discretion.
6. Sponsor/Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Sweeps Rules or any other promotion.
7. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor/Promoter reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s/Promoter’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Sweeps Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
8. In all other cases, Sponsor/Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes. Any notice regarding cancellation, suspension and/or modification will be posted at mrsmaple.com.
9. In the event of modifying the Sweepstakes, a participant’s continued enrolment and/or participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
